Notebooks are a great way of storing notes and papers in one area. Unlike binders, you don't need to take papers out to write on them, you can just fold the notebook back and start writing. In addition notebooks can be bought with a fun cover or you can make your own. Some notebooks have subject dividers and folder pocket on the front and back cover so you can keep all your class notes neat and organized.

Best Way to Organize Your Notebook

1. Write your name and subject on the inside cover
2. At the top of each page, put a page number in the corner and the date of the assignment
3. On the first page, make a table of contents and put the most important pages and their page number on it
4. Put assignments in front pocket to refer to if needed
5. If you are using your notebook as a planner, look online for a template that you like
6. Make sure you put a calendar for the whole month before a week by week planner
